Xbox Game Pass adds three day-one titles including Astroneer

Microsoft added three day-one titles to Xbox Game Pass on June 11: Beastro, Frog Sqwad and Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions. The games are available through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass; availability by tier varies by title and all support play on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC and cloud.

Beastro is a fantasy adventure that places players in the role of Panko, a chef whose cooking mechanics are tied to quest progression. The game combines exploration and meal preparation as core gameplay elements. Beastro is listed for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and is available on Series X|S, PC and cloud.

Frog Sqwad is an extraction-focused puzzle-platformer that supports up to eight players in cooperative runs. Gameplay centers on swinging, jumping and catapulting teammates, with mechanics that let characters grow larger by consuming food. Frog Sqwad is listed for Game Pass Ultimate, PC and Premium tiers and is available on Series X|S, PC and cloud.

Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions is a sequel to the 2019 title Astroneer. The game shifts some activity to the ESS Starseeker space station, where players cooperate to complete planet-wide objectives across multiple star systems. Starseeker is listed for Game Pass Ultimate, PC and Premium tiers and is available on Series X|S, PC and cloud.

The additions continue Microsoft’s pattern of offering day-one releases on Game Pass, which lets subscribers access new launches at no extra purchase. Subscribers can download or stream the new titles immediately according to their Game Pass tier and platform access.
