Xbox Game Pass Adds Solarpunk, Frog Sqwad, Shift at Midnight
Solarpunk arrives June 8, Frog Sqwad on June 11 and Shift at Midnight on June 17 for Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud via Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass will add three games in June: Solarpunk on June 8, Frog Sqwad on June 11 and Shift at Midnight on June 17. Each title will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud.
Solarpunk is a survival game set on floating islands where players can build structures, grow food, craft gadgets and pilot airships to explore. The developer’s description notes solo and cooperative play: “Alone or together with your friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and hop on your airship to explore distant islands in the sky.”
Frog Sqwad is an extraction puzzle-platformer for up to eight players. Teams cooperate to swing, jump and catapult teammates while collecting food to grow into larger forms. Promotional text describes the title as: “Up to 8 player co-op extraction puzzle-platformer where you swing, jump, catapult your friends, and eat eat EAT until you grow into a humongous Megafrog.”
Shift at Midnight is an online cooperative detective horror game for up to three players. Gameplay is structured around randomly generated shifts in which teams investigate patrons to identify those pretending to be human. The game’s description outlines the core loop: “Work together across randomly generated shifts to investigate your customers, as some are only pretending to be human. Make one mistake, and you’ll be forced to board up, set traps, and hide.”
All three titles will be added to Game Pass’s monthly lineup and will be accessible to subscribers on the announced dates across console, PC and cloud. The additions cover survival, puzzle-platformer and cooperative detective horror genres and include single-player and multiplayer options.
