Xbox Game Pass Adds Forza Horizon 6, Subnautica 2, Mixtape

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass will add new games throughout May, including Forza Horizon 6 on May 19, Subnautica 2 on May 14 and Mixtape on May 7. Titles will arrive across cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC and handheld platforms, with multiple day-one releases for subscribers.

Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled for May 19 on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass for cloud, console, handheld and PC. The open-world driving game is set in Japan, features more than 550 licensed cars and offers early access beginning May 15 for players who purchase the Premium Upgrade.

Mixtape, a narrative coming-of-age adventure from Beethoven & Dinosaur, will be available day one on May 7 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Subnautica 2 launches in Game Preview on May 14 on the same tiers and supports up to four-player co-op, base-building and survival crafting.

Other day-one additions include Outbound on May 11 and Call of the Elder Gods on May 12. Black Jacket and Elite Dangerous join on May 12 for cloud and console players, and DOOM: The Dark Ages arrives on May 14. On May 6, Game Pass will add Ben 10 Power Trip, Descenders Next in Game Preview with linked Career and Grand Tour modes and expanded multiplayer, Wheel World, Wildgate and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Availability varies by title and by Game Pass tier. Many of the new releases will be available through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass; some will also appear on Game Pass Premium or Game Pass Essential. Several entries are noted as optimized for handheld play.

Microsoft also highlighted recent updates and subscriber benefits. Dead by Daylight released the Bloodbound update, which includes a Darkest Dungeon RUIN Rift, an Attack on Titan–themed 2v8 mode and the return of the Alien Collection. Sea of Thieves Season 19 Act 3 adds a Last Ship Standing event that lets Sloop crews vote via the Hourglass of Fate. World of Warships: Legends remains available as an in-game benefit. The narrative game inKonbini: One Store. Many Stories arrived on April 30.

Five games are scheduled to leave Game Pass on May 15: Galacticare, Go Mecha Ball, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, Paw Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship and Planet of Lana. Subscribers have until that date to play those titles or to purchase them at discounts of up to 20 percent.
