A poll launched this week asked Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers for their impressions of Subnautica 2, which entered early access on Game Pass Ultimate this week. Players posting feedback have praised gameplay while some flagged specific language in the game’s end-user license agreement.

The early access release followed a period of internal controversy during development. The developer published a roadmap outlining planned content updates and described the early access phase as a period to refine the game ahead of its full release.

The site running the poll said its news editor had limited hands-on time with the game and sought community responses to gather first-hand impressions. The editor wrote, “Let’s talk about it, shall we? We’ll throw a poll down below where you can give us your thoughts on Subnautica 2 so far, and please do elaborate in the comments section.”

The poll asks players to rate elements of the current build including exploration, technical stability, and the balance of survival mechanics. Responses are intended to show how Game Pass subscribers view the game’s current state and which issues players want addressed in upcoming updates.
