Xbox releases May 18–22: Forza Horizon 6, Riven, LEGO Batman

Microsoft lists Xbox and PC releases for May 18–22, led by Forza Horizon 6 and Riven on May 19 and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on May 22.

Microsoft and multiple publishers have scheduled a slate of Xbox and PC game releases for May 18–22, covering new entries from large studios and a variety of indie titles. Major releases include Forza Horizon 6 and a modern reimagining of Riven on May 19, followed by LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on May 22.

Forza Horizon 6, published by Xbox Game Studios, arrives May 19 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. The game is optimized for Xbox Series X|S and set in Japan. It features more than 550 licensed cars, customizable garages, the ability to build a Valley Estate, and creative tools called EventLab and Horizon CoLab. Forza Horizon 6 is offered in three editions at launch: Standard for $69.99, Deluxe for $99.99 and Premium for $119.99. Pre-orders include an in-game pre-tuned Ferrari J50.

Riven, from Cyan Worlds, also launches May 19 as a reimagined edition of the classic adventure. The new release uses real-time 3D movement, refreshed visuals and expanded narrative material while preserving the original puzzles. Riven is optimized for Xbox Series X|S and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. The listed launch price is $34.99 with a temporary discount shown at $27.99.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, published by Warner Bros. Games, releases May 22 and is optimized for Xbox Series X|S. The game follows Bruce Wayne’s training with the League of Shadows and his alliances with characters including Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl. Villains such as The Joker, The Penguin and Poison Ivy appear in the game. The Standard edition is listed at $69.99; the Deluxe edition is $89.99 and includes three days of early access plus a Batsuit inspired by The Dark Knight Returns for pre-orders.

Other notable releases across the week include R-Type Dimensions III on May 19; King of Tokyo and Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks on May 21; and Bubsy 4D on May 22. Several indie titles arrive across the period, including Atomic Owl (May 20), Coffee Talk Tokyo (May 21) and multiple smaller releases on May 21–22. Many titles are marked as optimized for Xbox Series X|S, and some support Smart Delivery, Xbox Play Anywhere or cross-buy where indicated by publishers.

Games will be available through the Microsoft Store on console and PC. Publishers list release dates and platform support; availability may vary by region and dates are subject to change.
