Xbox Player Voice Day One: Exclusives Top Player Requests
After one day on Microsoft’s new Xbox Player Voice portal, users ranked the return of exclusives first, followed by expanded backwards compatibility and free online multiplayer.
Microsoft created an Xbox Player Voice area on the Microsoft Feedback Portal to centralize user ideas and voting. After one day, players ranked the return of exclusives as the top request, followed by expanded backwards compatibility and making online multiplayer free on consoles.
The initial day-one top 10 also included requests for more achievement improvements, an Xbox Game Pass family plan, support for disc-based games with Project Helix, a return of Xbox Avatars, an HDR-capable dashboard, lower console prices, and allowing Xbox to record voice chat in clips on consoles.
Beyond the top 10, users suggested bringing back Snap Mode from early Xbox One software, restarting the FPS Boost program that improved frame rates on older titles, and adding music options to dynamic backgrounds. The submissions cover both software feature requests and broader policy and pricing issues.
Microsoft cautioned that some suggestions “may take longer to implement or may not be something we can act on.” The company did not commit to specific changes or provide a timeline for reviewing the most-upvoted ideas. Some software updates, such as an HDR-capable dashboard, are generally more straightforward than decisions that would change subscription pricing or remove paid multiplayer fees.
The Player Voice portal remains open for additional submissions and voting. The day-one leaderboard provides an early view of player priorities while Microsoft collects structured feedback through the new channel.
