Xbox Showcase Adds 21 Game Pass Titles; Where Winds Meet Drops

At the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, Microsoft announced 21 titles joining Xbox Game Pass and confirmed Where Winds Meet will shadow-drop on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Xbox Cloud on June 8, 2026. The game will be available to download from the Microsoft Store and included in Game Pass at launch.

Microsoft set the launch time for Where Winds Meet at 2:00 AM (UTC+8) on June 8 and confirmed it will be an Xbox Play Anywhere release across console, PC and cloud. Game Pass members will have access to an exclusive, time-limited pack in the in-game shop for four weeks; Microsoft said the pack contents will be updated in future versions. Microsoft’s announcement read: “Players can now download the game from the Microsoft Store and enjoy it for free. All Xbox Game Pass members can claim exclusive rewards in the Shop. The event runs for four weeks, and the pack contents will be updated with future versions.”

Where Winds Meet first launched on Steam and PlayStation 5 in November 2025. The Xbox edition includes the Hidden Mountain expansion, which adds a new map and additional martial arts content.

The showcase also set release dates for several other titles. Halo: Campaign Evolved is due July 28, 2026; Gears of War: E-Day is scheduled for October 6, 2026; and Fable is set for February 23, 2027. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is due August 27, 2026, and Persona 4 Revival is scheduled for February 18, 2027. Minecraft Dungeons II will release on September 29, 2026. Sea of Thieves will receive the Custom Seas update on June 18, 2026, and Fallout 76’s Infestations update is available now. The Elder Scrolls Online will add the Return of the Thieves Guild season on July 8, 2026.

Several projects received trailers or release windows without firm dates. State of Decay 3 returned with a 2027 window. Other announced Game Pass entries listed for 2027 or marked TBD include Bad Magpie, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, Join Us, Senua (a Hellblade-set title), Magicians: The Devil’s Deal, Valor Mortis, Vivarium, Persona 6, Spyro: A Realm Beyond and Clockwork Revolution.

Microsoft confirmed the announced titles will be added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog across console, PC and cloud. Where Winds Meet will be available to Game Pass subscribers at launch and include the limited-time in-game pack.
