The presentation was part of the Xbox Presents format rolled out earlier this month. It focused on Stranger than Heaven, a role-playing game from SEGA developed by the team behind the Yakuza series.
The broadcast included trailers and gameplay footage and confirmed the game will launch this winter. Xbox and SEGA said the title will be available on Xbox Game Pass at release.
Tracking of the video’s performance showed the view count rising from roughly 7.5 million shortly after the stream aired to about 12 million in the days that followed.
