Yoshi and the Mysterious Book final world uses mini-planets

The Switch 2 game concludes with a moon-themed final world where Yoshi navigates miniature planets, each with its own gravity, while riding a raven.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, released for Nintendo’s Switch 2, concludes with a moon-themed final world built around several small spherical planetoids. The game is divided into ten worlds; the tenth takes place on a moon-like stage.

Players first encounter a ghost-like creature that merges with others to form new enemies. Shortly after, a large raven appears and serves as a rideable platform across the tiny planets. Rather than a conventional boss fight, Yoshi mounts the raven to move between the micro-worlds.

Gameplay on the moon stage centers on changing gravitational pulls and navigation between planets. Star Bits fall from above during the sequence, and the raven will collect them if Yoshi jumps into their path, adding a collectible element to movement.

The miniature-planet layout requires players to account for each body’s gravity when jumping and moving. The level uses ring-like small planets and shifted gravity axes to create gravity-based platforming within a compact environment.

The stage shares visual and mechanical details with earlier gravity-focused platforming entries and a floating-moon encounter from a previous Yoshi game.

The in-game presentation reads: “Yep, it’s time to mess with gravity again.” The moon stage appears as the game’s final challenge in its ten-world run. The game is available now on the Switch 2.
