Zenless Zone Zero v3.0 adds Roscaelifer, Pyoris and free pulls

Zenless Zone Zero’s free v3.0 update arrives on June 17 and adds a new floating city, a playable alternate form for the protagonist, a Wind-attribute agent and 20 free login pulls.

The update unlocks Pyoris, the combat alter-ego of protagonist Phaethon. Pyoris will receive its full Mindscape and the W-Engine system over the course of Season 3. Players can use Pyoris both in combat and for movement inside the new city, including grinding on airborne rails to move faster around the map.

Roscaelifer, the new sky city, introduces new traversal options and side activities. The city features an auto-chess-inspired Bangboo minigame and a repeating daily task themed around a cookie stall, along with other location-specific content and routes that rely on the Pyoris form for access.

Velina, the game’s first Wind-attribute agent, debuts as the lead character for the first half of v3.0 alongside Ye Shunguang. The update’s second half will add Fire agent Norma and Sunna, leader of the Angels of Delusion.

HoYoverse will provide 20 free gacha pulls to all players who log in during the update period. The studio has also scheduled second-anniversary events and additional content for the v3.1 update.

Sammy Barker, a games editor, wrote that he looks forward to exploring the new city and trying the Windswept combat system Velina introduces, and that he plans to attempt to obtain Velina when her banner appears.

Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play action gacha title that adds locations, agents and gameplay systems through seasonal updates. v3.0 places emphasis on vertical traversal and new agent options. The Mindscape and W-Engine mechanics tied to Pyoris will be rolled out across Season 3, and the new content will integrate with the game’s existing progression and banner schedules over the coming weeks.
