Zero Parades Director’s Cut lands on PS5 Nov. 3, 2026
ZA/UM Studio will release a free PC Director’s Cut for Zero Parades on Oct. 1, 2026; a PS5 version follows Nov. 3. Xbox and Nintendo dates remain unconfirmed.
ZA/UM Studio announced a PlayStation 5 release for Zero Parades: For Dead Spies on Nov. 3, 2026, and a free Director’s Cut for PC on Oct. 1, 2026. The studio has not provided release dates for Xbox or Nintendo platforms. The original PC release arrived in May 2026.
The Director’s Cut adds roughly 40,000 words of new material. ZA/UM described the update as adding “substantial new material” that will make the game feel “tangibly different” from the first release. The PC update is free for existing owners; the PS5 version is a separate platform launch on Nov. 3.
At the center of the new narrative content is the Quisach Roundabout, a new Dramatic Encounter. ZA/UM’s description of the scene reads: “Hershel Wilk and her old friend Ramses find themselves stoned out of their minds, behind the wheel of a hijacked tuk-tuk and seemingly unable to escape the Quisach Roundabout late at night. The objective seems simple enough. Take the right exit and head home. Fail to do so, and well… things might get existential. And possibly fatal.”
The update also adds Backstage, a feature that lets players load earlier versions of selected levels to see how locations changed during development. Backstage includes in-game orbs that unlock audio stories from art director Kaspar Tamsalu about the game’s development and material that was cut from the final release.
Technical and presentation changes in the Director’s Cut include re-recorded English voiceovers, new character outfits, new death scenes, and expanded ultrawide display support for 2:19 and 32:9 ratios. Control and interface improvements include controller remapping, inventory sorting, and a Photosensitivity Mode. The studio says the update improves accessibility, audio, controls, and the user interface across the game.
PC owners will receive the Director’s Cut at no extra cost on Oct. 1, and the PS5 version will arrive on Nov. 3. Players on Xbox and Nintendo systems must wait for further schedule details from ZA/UM.
