Ball x Pit free on Switch Online in Europe until June 1

Nintendo is offering Ball x Pit free to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in European territories through June 1, 2026. The offer covers the complete Switch edition and the Switch 2 Upgrade Pack at no additional cost for the duration of the trial. The title is available for download from the Switch Online trials section of the Nintendo eShop.

The trial is active immediately and runs through June 1, 2026. Subscribers who download the game during that period will have access to the full title while the trial is active; after the trial ends, standard purchase options will apply for continued access. The Switch 2 Upgrade Pack is provided alongside the base game and aims to improve performance and visuals on the upcoming Switch 2 hardware, as described by the developer.

Ball x Pit was developed by Kenny Sun Studios and published by Devolver Digital. A review gave the game 9 out of 10 and described it as “a tremendous brew of so many ideas it ought to collapse under the confusion. However, it operates in such perfect balance that it appeals both to the one-more-go instinct and to more cerebral planning and creativity.”

Players in eligible European territories can install and play the game immediately from the trials section of the eShop. The Upgrade Pack is included at no extra charge during the promotion window.
