Greedfall for PS5/PS4 Falls to $6.99 on PlayStation Store - ps5.news

Greedfall for PS5 and PS4 is 80% off on the PlayStation Store, reduced to $6.99 through May 28 amid publisher Nacon’s insolvency and developer Spiders’ closure.

Greedfall for PS5 and PS4 is listed on the PlayStation Store for $6.99, an 80% discount that runs through May 28. The offer applies to both versions via cross-buy and is the lowest price the game has reached on Sony’s storefront.

The game was developed by Spiders and first released on PS4 in 2019, with a PS5 release in 2021. Spiders was closed in April 2026 after 18 years in operation. Publisher Nacon has filed for insolvency.

Greedfall received mixed reviews at launch. Commentators and players have pointed to the game’s role-playing mechanics, exploration and narrative choices as distinguishing features. A follow-up title did not achieve similar critical or commercial success.

Observers have warned that a publisher’s insolvency can create risks for the continued availability of its catalogue, including potential delistings or licensing complications. No official notice has been issued to remove Greedfall from the PlayStation Store. Players may also add free Tomb Raider and Midgar DLC packs from the PlayStation Store until May 19, 2026 before they are delisted.

The PlayStation Store’s description presents the game as set on a remote, magical island filled with riches, secrets and creatures, and notes that players can shape events by forming or betraying alliances with companions and factions through diplomacy, deception or force.

The discount ends May 28; purchases made before that date will receive the reduced price.
