Opus: Prism Peak PS5 port due in 2026; demo at BitSummit - ps5.news

Opus: Prism Peak, released on Switch and PC in 2026, will arrive on PS5 later in 2026; a PS5 demo will be playable at BitSummit PUNCH in Kyoto May 22-24.

Opus: Prism Peak, a narrative adventure developed by Sigono that launched on Nintendo Switch and PC in 2026, will arrive on PlayStation 5 later in 2026. A playable PS5 demo will be available at the PlayStation booth during BitSummit PUNCH in Kyoto from May 22-24.

Publisher Shueisha Games confirmed a 2026 PS5 release but did not provide a specific launch date or list any platform-specific technical details. The company said attendees at BitSummit PUNCH will be able to try the PS5 build ahead of the full release.

In Opus: Prism Peak players control a middle-aged photojournalist who becomes stranded in a mountainous, otherworldly area. Using an old camera, players explore the environment, investigate connections to the world they left, and work to uncover the truth and find a way home.

Shueisha Games describes the title as a story-driven adventure in which the player takes the role of a weary adult caught outside of reality. The publisher’s overview highlights exploration, investigation and narrative discovery as core elements of the experience.

The game received positive responses from critics and players following its Switch and PC launch. A trailer for Opus: Prism Peak is available, and Shueisha Games said it will provide further release information, including a firm PS5 date and any platform-specific features, later in 2026.
