PS Plus Offers 10% Launch Discount on PS5 Game Mixtape

Beethoven & Dinosaur’s Mixtape launched yesterday on PS5 and is available on the PlayStation Store with a 10% PS Plus launch discount. PS Plus members across all tiers can buy the game for $17.99 through Friday, May 22; the standard price is $19.99.

Sony and publisher Annapurna Interactive are offering the discount as a PS Plus exclusive for two weeks from the game’s release. PS Plus Premium subscribers can stream Mixtape via cloud play.

Mixtape is a narrative adventure set in the 1990s. The developer describes the story as three friends spending their last night together when a curated playlist pulls them into dreamlike reenactments of formative memories. Players move through short narrative vignettes focused on exploration and storytelling rather than complex mechanics.

The game features licensed tracks from DEVO, Roxy Music, Lush, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division and The Cure. Each vignette is tied to songs selected to reflect the characters’ memories.

Beethoven & Dinosaur developed the title and Annapurna Interactive published it. The launch discount is limited to the two-week window ending May 22, after which the PlayStation Store will list the game at its full price of $19.99.
