Street Fighter 6 adds Ingrid, outfits and avatar modes

Capcom will add DLC character Ingrid to Street Fighter 6 on May 28, 2026, and will release new outfits and two avatar-focused modes on the same day. The developer published a character guide and an outfit trailer in the days before the update.

Capcom described Ingrid as a versatile fighter who uses a mix of projectiles and movement techniques to control space while building a resource called Sun Crests. The guide says Sun Crests allow her to “unleash the full power of the sun to subjugate her opponents,” with stronger effects when more stock is spent.

The outfit trailer highlights the third set of costumes scheduled to arrive with the update. Sagat appears in a suit, C. Viper wears an elegant dress, Alex has energetic work-style gear, and Ingrid is shown in a maid outfit.

Two avatar features, Random Avatar Matches and Avatar Arcade Mode, are set to go live with the May 28 update. Both modes focus on player avatars rather than standard character matches.

Ingrid will be released as paid downloadable content. Capcom coordinated the character launch, outfit drop and avatar-mode rollout for the same date and used the guide and trailer to preview her tools and the accompanying cosmetics.
