Tetris 99 Yoshi Cup runs May 29 – June 1
Tetris 99’s 54th Cup is Yoshi-themed from May 29 to June 1; earn 100 event points to claim the theme. A Nintendo Account and active Switch Online subscription are required.
Nintendo will run the 54th Cup for Tetris 99, a Yoshi-themed event, from May 29 through June 1. Players who collect 100 event points during the window will receive a downloadable Yoshi-inspired theme for the game.
The theme includes new artwork, music and custom Tetrimino designs based on Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, the title that launched on Switch 2 last week.
Participants earn event points by playing Tetris 99 matches while the cup is active. The event window is fixed; points must be earned before the cup ends to claim the reward.
To take part, players need a linked Nintendo Account and an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Theme progress is tied to the account used during the event, so accounts should be linked and subscriptions active when the cup closes.
Nintendo released an in-store demo of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book across North America last week to coincide with the game’s arrival on Switch 2.
