007 First Light lands May 26 and Echo Generation 2 on May 27. The week also includes Mina the Hollower, Kabuto Park, Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar and Poppy Playtime Chapter 5.

Xbox’s release window for May 25–29 includes major studio and independent titles across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, with several games arriving on Game Pass at launch or supporting cross-buy features.

IO Interactive’s 007 First Light is due May 26. The standalone, reimagined James Bond origin story is priced at $69.99, is optimized for Xbox Series X|S and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. The game offers cinematic missions in varied locations, multiple approaches including stealth and combat, gadget use, vehicle segments and replayable missions with modifiers.

Echo Generation 2 from Cococucumber arrives May 27 and is available on Game Pass. The title is a turn-based, sci-fi deckbuilding RPG in which players control Jack, a father whose family vacation uncovers hidden experiments and alternate realities. The game is optimized for Series X|S and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.

Other scheduled releases include Mina the Hollower from Yacht Club Games on May 29 for Series X|S, an action-adventure with burrowing mechanics and pixel-art environments. Kabuto Park from Seaven Studio launches May 28 on Game Pass, a short bug-collection and battling game set during a summer vacation. Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar from XSEED Games and Marvelous releases May 28 for Series X|S, focusing on farm management, stall operation and town recovery.

Horror and suspense entries this week include Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 from Mob Entertainment on May 27 for Series X|S with Smart Delivery, listed at $19.99, continuing the factory-set franchise narrative. Narrative and puzzle-focused titles arriving include Yerba Buena on May 26, a surreal puzzle-platformer, and Blueberry on May 28, an emotional narrative platformer about memory and life stages.

Family and licensed titles include Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen on May 28, written by creator Joe Brumm with hand-drawn visuals and exploration gameplay, and Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis: Next! on May 27 with local multiplayer features.

The slate also features numerous independent releases: Cottonville on May 25, Realm of Ink on May 26, Beat the Champions and Crashout Crew on May 28, and Mashina, Into the Slimy Mines, Kiko’s Apple Adventure and several smaller projects on May 29.
